WHO AM I ?

My journey into design started back in 2021, right after I finished my degree in Human Anatomy in Nigeria.

Even before graduating, I found myself drawn to design and problem-solving. I got the chance to intern at my cousin’s interior design company, and that experience really opened my eyes.

Watching him work, I saw how he could completely transform dull, lifeless spaces into beautiful, welcoming environments. That hands-on exposure sparked something in me—it made me realize how much impact thoughtful design can have.

When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me gaming—FIFA 25 and NBA 2K25 are my go-tos.

I’m also a big Manchester United fan, and I never miss a chance to watch them play.

After finishing my degree back home, I had a conversation with a friend who works as a software developer. I told her I was really interested in getting into tech, but wasn’t sure which path to take.

She knew about my background in interior design and suggested I look into user experience (UX) design, saying it could be a great fit for me since it combined creativity and problem-solving. Her advice got me curious, so I started researching UX design—and the more I learned, the more it felt like the right direction for me.

That search led me to an opportunity with ZURI, where they were offering an unpaid design internship. I applied for the scholarship, got accepted, and that experience became my first real step into the world of UX. It’s what kickstarted my journey into design and tech.
